If you follow the NFL you would know that the the NFC and AFC are not created equal in competition. This is not any individual teams fault, it’s the same problem the NBA has with the East and the West. The NFC playoff picture is not even close to being set, and it could get messy the next three weeks.

Teams like the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, and Dallas Cowboys could cause issues for some teams who might be up for a playoff berth this year. If Los Angeles wins out it causes problems for teams like the Minnesota Vikings, who need to win out just to secure a wildcard spot. If this were to happen, then the NFC West division would have three teams in the playoffs this year.
The Bears seem in probable but if the Rams don’t win out, and the Bears beat the Packers, Vikings, and Chiefs they would secure that Wildcard spot. The NFC East is so bad that if the Cowboys win out, at 9-7 they could win their divison, and secure that Wild Card spot as well. The Cowboys and Rams will be playing each other, and the Rams and Bears have already played each other with the Rams winning that game.
The end of this season should be an interesting finish, with two of the three teams left out. There isn’t a scenario where all three could make the playoffs this year. So get your popcorn ready, the NFC playoff race should have a hot finish.
